Dawn M. Barber, 72, of Lincoln, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2019 at Miriam Hospital, Providence.  She was the wife of Stephen E. Barber.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Burton K. Harris Jr. and Alice M. (McDonald) Harris.

Dawn graduated from Central Falls High School Class of 1964, attended Rhode Island Junior College, and worked as a registered nurse.  She loved cooking, quilting, antiquing and spending time with her grandchildren.  Dawn also took an interest in her family genealogy.  She was a descendant of one of the original Mayflower passengers and founding families of Providence.

In addition to her husband Stephen, she is survived by four children Timothy Kenny, Shannon Kenny, Scott Kenny and Terrence Kenny; grandchildren Clara, Nicholas, Hawk and Jack; step sons Christopher Barber and Jonathan Barber and their children Allison, Marissa, Anthony and Bryce.  Dawn also leave a daughter-in-law Valerie Kenny and a number of cousins including Donna Lucitt.

A loving memorial service is planned for June.
