Jeannette Doris Landry, 98, of Cumberland, died peacefully Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, at Mount St. Rita's Health Center, Cumberland. Born in South Attleboro, MA on February 1st, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Brouillette) Benoit. Jeannette resided for many years in Central Falls and in her later years moved to Cumberland. Employed as a supervisor in a distribution center until her retirement at age 70. Throughout her lifetime Jeannette happily enjoyed dancing, reading and playing cards and games at family gatherings.
She is survived by her sons Paul E. Landry and wife Muriel of Cumberland and Leonard V. Landry of Lincoln, her daughters Linda L. Desautels and husband Roland of Cumberland and Michelle E. Folco of Pawtucket and Daughter In-law Lori Landry of Scituate; 7 granddaughters, 5 great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Alan F. Landry of Scituate. She was also predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Calling hours will be at the Lincoln Funeral Home between 8 and 9 a.m. preceeding her Mass. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
