Florence M. Rogan

Florence M. Rogan, 93, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, September 16, 2017. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Rogan.

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Catherine (Parfitt) Tague.

Mrs. Rogan had been employed as an aide at Diamond Hill Nursing Home prior to her retirement in 1987. She was previously employed at Bruce Diamond Inc. of Attleboro. 

She was a past member of St. Teresa Church Seniors of Pawtucket.

Besides spending time with her family, Florence loved to cook and bake. She was known for her infamous raisin squares. She and her husband were avid campers and enjoyed camping on Cape Cod. They also enjoyed cruising in the Caribbean.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy P. Rogan and his wife Denise of Uxbridge, MA, Gary M. Rogan and his wife Dagmar of Lecanto, FL,  and Frederick H. Rogan of Naples, FL; sisters Rita Rivard of Cumberland and Dorothy Crowell of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Richard Tague, Margaret Kelley and Catherine Agnew.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 6-8 pm

The family would like to thank Hope Hospice Care of Providence, RI and St. Antoine Nursing Home of North Smithfield, RI for the excellent care given to Florence.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence’s memory to Hope Hospice Care would be appreciated.
