Lydia (Thomas) Gasse, 91, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017. She was the wife of the late Gerard L. Gasse.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joao and Maria (Perira) Thomas, she had resided in the city most of her life.

During her working career, Mrs. Gasse was employed as a sales representative in the retail industry.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law Mary Gasse of Lincoln; her grandson and his wife Peter and Tiffany Gasse of Cumberland; great-grandsons Riley and Hunter Gasse; sisters Elsie Rocha of Florida and Lynn Coyle of Maryland and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robert Gasse and the sister of the late Joseph Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00 am in St. Mary Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket (Lower church). Burial will be private. Visitation will take place from 9:15 am – 10:15 am at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln.
