Lauretta Campbell, 88, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Mount Saint Rita’s Health Center.  Born and raised in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Aurore (Blanchette) Campbell.

She is survived by her sister, Florence (Campbell) Kulik of Lincoln, RI and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Sr. Yvette Campbell, Mabel Campbell, Normand Campbell and George Campbell.

Lauretta was employed by Abeka Webbing, Jabbour Electronics and the Welfare Department prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Consolation Church and later St. Jude Parish. 

Lauretta loved to garden and to travel. She was always open to trying new things and enjoyed get-togethers with her family. She loved to play cards and hated to lose, especially to her brothers.

Calling hours are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am in St. Jude Parish, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, RI. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.

Family and friends are cordially invited to celebrate Lauretta’s life at a luncheon, immediately following the burial (Chelo’s, 911 Warren Avenue, East Providence, RI).
