Michael A. Specht, 69, of Cumberland. He was the son of the late Lawrence E. Specht and Priscilla B. Specht. He is survived by two sisters, Janet Trudel and Shirley Pierce, both of Cumberland, three nephews, a niece and their children.

Michael was a beloved school teacher in the Providence School System most of his life.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations to Doctors Without Borders would be appreciated.
