Mildred C. Anderson, 86, of North Providence, died January 29, 2016.  She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles M. and Ethel L. (Ryan) Anderson.

She was employed as a secretary for Nicholson File and the State Auditor General Office, retiring in 1992.

She leaves nieces Dolores Brandley, Judith (Carl) Bergden; nephews James Giblin and David (Gail) Anderson; 14 great nieces and nephews, several great, great nieces and nephews and good friends Ann Doran and Mary Jo Hyland.  She was the sister of the late Mary F. Giblin and John G. Anderson and the aunt of the late Thomas Giblin and Donald Anderson. 

To honor her wishes funeral services will be private.
