Beatrice L. Howe, 82, of East Providence, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Ronald D. Howe.  They had been married for 60 years. 

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Josephine (Gendreau) Laferriere.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her daughter Lori (Lorraine) Romano and her husband Allen of Providence; two cherished grandsons, Michael Allen and Nicholas William Romano both of Providence; her sister-in-law Linda Agostinelli, her sister Bernadette Cawley of Central Falls, and her brother Philip Laferriere of Citrus Heights, CA, and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Silva, Theresa Beauregard, and Gerard Laferriere.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham St., Providence.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  Calling hours are Friday from 4-6.
