Domenic DeMichele, formerly a resident of the Norwich, Providence, and Lincoln areas, passed away on Monday, November 30th with family at his side.  He was the loving spouse of Germaine (Baron) DeMichele, who predeceased him. 

Domenic is survived by his daughters, June Fecteau and her husband, Al; Annette Goddard and her husband, Wayne; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his brother, Louis DeMichele.  He was also predeceased by his daughter, Donna Owens, and his sisters; Sue Catallozzi and Angela Ravo. 

Domenic was proud of his career in a variety of body shops and loved being the crossing guard near St Patrick Cathedral in Norwich. He enjoyed summers at Cape Cod, quohogging, and making holiday antipastos with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on  Monday at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, School Street, Albion. 

Domenic’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the loving angels that cared for him on the south wing of Crossings East and the caring staff of the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital who were so gentle during his final hours. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Patrick School at 211 Broadway, Norwich, CT 06360 or to the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut at 200 Executive Boulevard, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489 for those who wish to do so.
