Douglas Dame, 47 years young, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 23, 2015. He was the loving husband of Tracy Dame with whom he was to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary on October 29, 2015.  He was the most wonderful father to his two beautiful daughters, Emily and Amy. 

He is also survived by his sister, Donna, and his brothers Norman and Fred.  He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Delores Dame, his twin children Zachary and Elizabeth, and his twin sister, Deborah. 

Doug was born in Pawtucket, RI and is a 1986 graduate of Lincoln High School.  He went on to earn an associates degree in Surgical Technology from New England Tech in 1995.  Doug worked as a surgical technologist for The Miriam Hospital for the past eight years.  He was Past Master of St. John’s Masonic Lodge and a member of the Rhode Island Shriners Organization. 

Doug recently started making a healthier life for himself by participating in obstacle course races with his teammates from Fitness Adventure and the BoldRDash Organization.  He competed in several races over the past two years and achieving his wish of getting his Spartan Trifecta on his birthday this year.  The love and support he received from all his friends and family helped him achieve his biggest goal.  Doug could not have done it without you all by his side.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:45 am at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln.  A Masonic Service will follow at the funeral home at noon.
