Therese I. Brodeur, 88, of Dighton, MA, formerly of Smithfield, died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Marion Manor. She was the wife of Alfred R. Brodeur. Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Hormidas and Clara (Deschenes) Brisson.

Mrs. Brodeur was employed as a jewelry worker for Spidel Jewelry Manufacturing Co.

Survivors including her husband are her sons Daniel Brodeur of Dighton, MA, Daryl Brodeur of Dighton, MA and Alfred Brodeur of San Antonio, TX; her daughters Christine Brodeur-Berger of Marietta, GA Claudette Brodeur of Jacksonville, FL and Carol Cleary of Hopkinton, NH ; her brother Normand Brisson of Cranston; her sisters Yvonne Roux of Sparta, NJ and Alice Cullen of Peacedale; 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late David Brodeur and Rev. Dennis Brodeur and the sister of the late Joseph, George, Paul, Raymond and Edmond Brisson and Lucille Simoneau.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, W. Wrentham Rd., Cumberland. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm.
