Michael J. Stevens, 38, of North Providence, died Saturday, August 16th at home.  He was the fiancé of Laura L. Stevens.  Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of James Stevens of Florida and Diane (St. Pierre) Stevens of Lincoln. 

Michael was a self-employed painter/contractor.
 
He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Theresa (Fontaine) St. Pierre of N. Attleboro, MA; son Ethan Stevens of Bangor, ME; daughters Alexandria, Raevin and Isabella Stevens of Bangor, ME; sister Stephanie Stevens of TN; uncle Leonard and his wife Katherine St. Pierre of Taunton, MA; aunt Elaine Bedard of S. Attleboro, MA; nieces Madison and Makensie Stevens and several cousins.
 
Committal prayers to which relatives and friends are invited will be offered on Thursday at 9:30 am in the chapel at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket.  Burial will follow.  Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
