Robert G. Ostiguy, 85, of Lincoln, died Friday, July 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Tillier) Ostiguy. They had been married 55 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late George A. and Antoinette E. (Bouchard) Ostiguy.

Mr. Ostiguy was employed as a plumber for Local #51 for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Rhody Oldies Hockey Club.

He is survived by his daughters Susan (Thomas) Carlson of Lincoln, Sharon Ostiguy of Cape Coral, FL, Sandra Ostiguy of Round Rock, TX and Sheila (Leonard) DiOrio of Lincoln; his brother Arthur J. Ostiguy of Lincoln, his sister Claire A. Choiniere of Cumberland; grandchildren Elizabeth, Samuel and Alexander Carlson and Anthony and Melina DiOrio. He was the brother of the late Ada F. Vandall.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 pm.
