Anna A. Sherry, 86, of Cumberland, died unexpectedly on January 5, 2014 at Memorial Hospital with her daughter by her side. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Sherry. Born in Lincoln, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Angela (Tetreault) Nelson.

Mrs. Sherry was employed in the Molding Room of GTE for many years prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia J. Swafford of Cumberland; her son Peter Sherry of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandson and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Clarence Nelson.

Her funeral was private.
