Marguerite Knoop, 86, of Cumberland, died December 15, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Abel and Emily (DuFour) Tremblay.

Mrs. Knoop had lived in Cumberland most of her life. She was employed as a warehouse worker for Ann & Hope Stores for many years.

Her son David and his wife Lynelle Knoop of North Syracuse, NY; her daughter Colleen Knoop of Cumberland; her brother Edward Tremblay of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews survive her. She was the sister of the late Robert Tremblay.

A Memorial Service was held at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Cumberland.
