Mary E. McEnery, 72, of Providence, died unexpectedly on November 12, 2013.  She was the wife of the late William J. McEnery and the daughter of the late Albert E. and Elizabeth (Doherty) Bradley.
 
Mrs. McEnery was employed as a school teacher for the Cumberland School Department for many years.  She taught 5th grade and Kindergarten at the Cumberland Hill School throughout her career.
 
She was past National President of the Ladies of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a member of Division #12 of Providence. She was also a member and treasurer of the Sun Dial Garden Club of North Providence.
 
She is survived by her brother, Robert E. Bradley Sr. of Cumberland; her sister Patricia A. McGuire of Lake Forest, IL; six nieces and nephews; her stepchildren, Dr. Kevin W. McEnery of Sugar Land, TX, Dennis J. McEnery of Floral Park, NY, Eileen Mashimo of Windham, NH and Joan F. McEnery of Norfolk, VA;  her step grandchildren, Kevin J. and Kayla McEnery of Texas and Katherine and Paul Mashimo of New Hampshire.  She was the sister of the late William F. “Billy” Bradley.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday November 16, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Atwells Avenue, Providence.  Burial followed in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Providence.
