Helen V. Ryder, 103, of Pawtucket, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Memorial Hospital.  Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Austin J. and Ellen A. (Hopkins) Ryder. 

Miss Ryder was employed as a quality control inspector for Moore Fabrics until her retirement in 1973.  She was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II and a member of the Waves National Ocean State #118.
 
Miss Ryder is survived by 11 nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late John P. Ryder, Mary A. Ryder, Rita Wahl and Catherine Booth.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 am in the Chapel of Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main St., Pawtucket.  Burial with Military Honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Calling hours are Sunday from 4-8 pm at the residence.
