Marguerite (Bourbonierre) Blier, 87, of Lincoln, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at Hebert Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Albert D. Blier and the daughter of the late Romeo and Jeannette Bourbonierre.

Mrs. Blier had been a Nurse's Aide at Rhode Island Hospital and for VNA prior to her retirement. She had previously been employed at Moore Fabric Co.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Blier of Morgan, Vermont; her brother Bernard Bourbonierre of Montreal, Canada; son-in-law Norman Benoit; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jeannette Benoit and the sister of the late John and Marcel Bourbonierre.

Mrs. Blier was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, a volunteer at the Little Sisters of the Poor and an avid gardener.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
