Mary V. (DeGuilio) Quinn

Mary V. (DeGuilio) Quinn, 93, of Lincoln, died Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Quinn. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late James F. and Anna (Connolly) DeGuilio.

Mrs. Quinn had been employed as a clerk in the Handbag Dept. of Apex Stores and later as a textile lab worker for Premier Thread Co. until her retirement in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Jude Church and a member of their Friendly Visitor Program and Women of Spirit. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years.

She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann M. Mc Devitt of Lincoln; her son Ret. Colonel Dennis J. Quinn and his wife Ellen of Double Springs, Alabama; her brother James DeGuilio of Cumberland, 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward DeGuilio and the mother-in-law of the late Charles McDevitt.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Wednesday from 3-7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to St. Jude Church Memorial Fund, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, RI 02865.
