Suzanne D. Desmarais, 58, of Cumberland, died Thursday, July 26th at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of Richard O. Desmarais. They were married 30 years. Born in Worcester, MA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Carolyn (Williamson) Bernard.

She was employed as a call agent at the CVS Call Center.

Suzanne attended Northbridge High School and David Hale Fanning Trade School. She loved gardening, all types of crafts, and her precious dachshunds, Sable and Sadie.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her niece Susan Kiddy and her husband Trevor and their children Kelsey, Nathan and Caden; her niece Heather Bernard; her nephew Andrew Bernard and numerous friends. She was sister of the late Alva Bernard.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:15 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Eucharistic Service at 10:00 am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 33 Linwood Ave., Whitinsville, MA. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7 pm.

It was Suzanne's request her funeral be a celebration of her life and she asked that people wear bright colors to her wake and funeral.
