Bernice A. Martineau, 77, of Cumberland, died Tuesday at Friendly Nursing Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Martineau.

Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Dionne) O’Hearn.

Mrs. Martineau had been a lifelong resident of Cumberland. She was employed as a clerk for Ann & Hope Stores until her retirement.

Survivors include her sons, Robert F. Martineau Jr. of Cumberland and Michael D. Martineau of Cumberland; her daughter Mary Ann Martineau of Coventry; her sister Shirley Leonard of N. Providence, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Calling hour will be held on Thursday evening from 5-8 at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a service to be held at 7:30 pm.
