Robert Sullivan, 63, of Pawtucket, died peacefully at home on Sunday, July 21, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Eugene J. and Dorothy M. (Ryan) Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan was employed by the US Postal Service as a City Carrier at the Pawtucket Post Office. He was a United States Marine veteran of Vietnam and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Sullivan was an avid NY Giants, Boston Celtics, Red Sox, and Bruins, Providence Friars and Notre Dame football fan.

He is survived by his sisters Colleen Piasecki of Pawtucket, Patricia Griffin and her husband Timothy of Lincoln and Kathleen Sullivan of Charlestown; nieces Ellen Piasecki, Karen Morrison and Michaela Griffin; and nephews Ryan Griffin and Ethan Griffin.

Committal prayers and Military honors to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 am at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Those attending are asked to line up on the road near the Administration building until the hearse carrying Bob arrives. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
