William O'Toole

William O'Toole, 92, of Lincoln, died Sunday, June 23rd, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.  He was the husband of the late Alice (Foster) O’Toole.  Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Samuel and Emily (Weavil) O’Toole. 
 
He was the owner of W. O’Toole Company for over 31 years until his retirement.

Mr. O’Toole was a Navy Veteran of World War II.  He served aboard the USS LCI 1089 and was a recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Medal (2) Stars, World War II Victory Medal and the American Area Ribbon.  He was a life member of the Jenks Lodge No. 24 F. & AM of Pawtucket, a life member of the Fraternal Order of Police #24, an Honorary Deputy Sheriff of Kent County, and a member of Shriners International, Cranston, RI.
 
He is survived by his son Paul W. O’Toole and his wife Nancy of Pawtucket, his grandsons Stephen O’Toole and Brian and his wife Melissa O’Toole, a great granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was the brother of the late Edith Archibald.
 
A Requim Eucharistic Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Luke Episcopal Church, 670 Weeden St., Pawtucket, RI .  Calling hours are Thursday evening from 5-8 at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln.  A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 pm.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory to St. Luke Episcopal Church, 670 Weeden St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 or Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 would be appreciated.
