Annette Irene (Dumais) Desjardins, 83, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Merrimack Hospice House after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Annette was the wife of Roland Desjardins who passed away in 1993. She lived in RI for 79 years before moving to Nashua, NH in 2009 to be near her family.

Annette was predeceased by her four brothers, Armand, Jerry, Paul and Roland Dumais and two sisters Emilia Desmaris and Rita Roy and a grandson Doyle Horvath.

Annette was employed at the former Peterson Puritan for 36 years.

Annette was a sweet loving woman and being surrounded by her family brought her great joy. She is survived by her daughter Doris and son-in-law Jon Horvath; her granddaughter Melissa Horvath and her partner Joe Coulombe, her grandson Ryan Horvath and his wife Lisa; five great grandchildren, Steven, Quinten, Lucas, Carter and Emma Horvath, one great-great grandson Brayden Gaarder Horvath and one step-granddaughter Madeline Anderson.

Calling hours will be held at the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Parish, Mendon Road, Cumberland Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Mendon Road, Cumberland following the Mass.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Annette's memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054 or to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
