Ann M. (Gorman) Francis, 69, of Seekonk, MA, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 17th, at home. She was the former wife and lifelong friend of J. David Francis. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late William and Ann (Conroy) Gorman.

Ann was employed as a teacher for the Pawtucket School System for 20 years and later taught at Knotty Pine Pre-School in Seekonk for 26 years prior to her retirement.

She graduated from Sacred Heart School, Our Lady of the Elms College and received her Master of Education from Rhode Island College.

She was Vice President of North School PTA in Seekonk; Secretary of Pawtucket Jaycettes; a member of the hospitality committee of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church (St. Mary's) Seekonk; a volunteer at Notre Dame Church Soup Kitchen; and a member of St. Raphael Academy Women’s Auxiliary.

She was the beloved mother of Matthew Francis and his wife Heather Francis and Shayne Francis and his wife Lahteishiah; "Nana Ann" to her grandchildren Taylor, Joie and Jude, Drago, Braydyn and Gryphon Francis; her brother W. Terrence "Terry" Gorman and his wife Pat; her lifelong friends Kathy and Jim Downing, Beth Roberge and many nieces and nephews survive her.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queens of Martyrs Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk, MA. Calling hours are Friday from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
