Julia LaBarre, 92, formerly of Pawtucket and North Providence, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of the late Laurence LaBarre. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Agnes (Howard) Smith.

Mrs. LaBarre had been employed as an assembler by the former Loraine Mills and International Pkg. Co.

Her son Edward L. and his wife Pam LaBarre of North Smithfield, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren survive her. She was the sister of the late William and Emmanuel Smith, Agnes Coon, Alice Davey and Ellen Briden.

Her funeral service will take place this Sunday at 4:00 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 2-4 pm. Burial will be private.
