Joseph J. Gannon, 92, of West Warwick, died January 2, 2013 at Coventry Skilled Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Mary K. (Cullen) Gannon. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Joseph T. and Lina (McCormick) Gannon.

During his working career, Mr. Gannon was employed as a dispatcher for Valley Ready Mix; office worker for Campenella & Cardi Construction and Sayles Finishing Co. He retired in 1987 and volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister at Memorial Hospital for 10 years.

He is survived by his sisters Genieve Bucco of West Warwick and Anna Gannon of Seekonk and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John Gannon, Brother Peter Gannon SA and Catherine Beaudoin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 2013 at St. Joseph Church, Providence St., W. Warwick. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
