Bertrand T. Dickey

Bertrand T. Dickey, who celebrated his 100th birthday on November 11th, died Monday at Grandview Health Center, Cumberland. He was the husband of the late Beatrice B. (Pinault) Dickey. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Thomas W. and Sarah (Morgan) Dickey. Mr. Dickey lived in Cumberland most of his life.

He was employed for Standard Nut & Bolt Company for 12 1/2 years until his retirement. He had previously been employed for 25 years as a driver for Gorman's Bakery.

Mr. Dickey was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Teamster's Union.

His daughter Linda Leach and her husband Jerry of Woonsocket; his sister Madeline Dickie of Cumberland; his grandson Kenneth and his wife Meagan Leach of Smithfield; his granddaughter Robin and her husband Nick Kozma of Gloucester, MA and his great-grandson Anthony N. Kozma survived him.

He was the brother of the late Norman Dickey, Raymond Dickey, G. Eileen Dickie, and M. Rita Dickey.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00 am in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial with Military honors will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
