Nola A. Fontaine, 87, of Warwick, died Sunday at the home of her daughter Lynne Hanrahan with whom she resided. She had previously resided in Cumberland then Charlestown. She was the wife of the late Albert G. Fontaine. Born in Fall River MA, she was a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Elisa (Glaude) Desforges.

Mrs. Fontaine was employed as Registered Nurse for many years. During the course of her career she worked for Union Hospital in Fall River, MA; Pawtucket Memorial Hospital; with the Visiting Nurse Association and as a Cardiac Nurse at Miriam Hospital from where she retired. She was a graduate of Union Hospital School of Nursing and took graduate courses at Boston Lying-Inn Hospital. She was a member of A.N.A. and RI S.N.A.

Her daughters Janine Richardson of W. Warwick and Lynne Hanrahan of Warwick; her son Armand Fontaine of Iowa Park, Tx; her sister Arline Menard of Pennsacola, FL; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren survive her.
