Ronald Baxter, 75, of Lincoln, died Saturday at home. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late L. Rowland and Sarah (Carnaghan) Baxter.

Mr. Baxter was employed as a bus driver for RIPTA for many years prior to his retirement. He was a retired member of the bus drivers union. He served with the Coast Guard for 4 years during peace time.

He is survived by his sisters Alyce Hanley of Anchorage Alaska, Rosalie Enos of Lincoln; brothers Robert Baxter of Lincoln and Richard Baxter of North Carolina; son Ronald G. Baxter of Florida; daughters Donna Wilson of North Attleboro and Lee-Ann Lennon of Taunton; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln. A prayer service will follow at 8:00 pm. Burial will be private.
