Rita M. McLaughlin, 86, of Lincoln, died August 4th at Pawtucket Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the lat James J. McLaughlin. Born in Richmond, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Albin and Elizabeth (Larock) Pierce.

Mrs. McLaughlin was employed as a sewer for Standard Romper Company, later Health-Tex Manufacturing Co. for many years prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Wilkins of Lincoln, Suzanne Driscoll of Lincoln and Ann Marie Slaimen of S. Attleboro; her son David J. McLaughlin of Pawtucket; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Leon and Donald Pierce.

Funeral and burial will be private.
