Edmund M. Armstrong, 95, of Cumberland, died Sunday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Phyllis M. (Pisaturo) Armstrong. Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and May Ella (Bessette) Armstrong, he lived in California for many years.

Mr. Armstrong was a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for many years. He was a World War II Army veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star.

He is also survived by his sister Doris T. Simard of Cumberland and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Adelard Armstrong, Norman Armstrong and Clarice Tougas.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am from Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial with Military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
