Lucille J. Paquette

Lucille J. Paquette, 87, of Exeter, New Hampshire died Wednesday at home surrounded by her children. She was the wife of the late James H. Paquette. Born in St. Gertrude, PQ Canada, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Maria C. (Baril) Dumont.

Mrs. Paquette worked in the textile industry and made fiberglass parachute cord during World War II. Later, she worked for Texas Instruments in quality control.

She is survived by her sons, James R. Paquette of Seekonk, RI and Robert L. Paquette of Warwick, RI; daughters, Therese Gaw of Kensington, NH and Claire Desrochers of Exeter, NH; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchilren, and her sister Therese Girouard of Lincoln, RI; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul, Lucien, Edouard and Jeanne Dumont, Yvette Plante, Lillian Tetreault and Rose Girouard.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:15 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Parish (St. Matthew) at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-6 pm.

It is requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille's memory be made to her favorite charity Maryknoll Fathers, P.O. Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0302.
