Maria "Mimi" (Felsner) Weiss , 87, of Cumberland, RI passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was the beloved mother of Dr. Susan F. Weiss of Cumberland, RI, and Mrs. Linda M. Molod and mother-in-law of Greg Molod of Windsor, CT.

Born in Eisgarn, Austria, the daughter of the late Franz and Barbara (Lipovitz) Felsner, she lived in Krems, Austria for many years before emigrating to the US in 1954; she settled in RI and became a US citizen shortly thereafter.

Mrs. Weiss was employed by Zebra Technologies formerly Comtec, for 33 years until her retirement in 2003. She was an avid gardener and seamstress.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ida Brousseau of Lincoln, RI and Mrs. Doris Vanslette of Coventry, RI, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Jude's Church, Lincoln, RI followed by inurment at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI.
