Peter B. Clare , 98, of Boynton Beach, Florida, died December 21st. He was the husband of the late Irene (Pion) Clare. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Sarah (Barnes) and Peter Clare.

Mr. Clare was the first Labor Relations Administrator for the State of RI. He retired in 1983 after having worked for the state for 31 years.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Walter Gatchell VFW Post.

He is survived by his son Ronald P. Clare and his wife Brenda Murphy, his grandchildren Peter (Jennifer), Kristin (Jason) and Jeffrey and Joshua and great grandchildren Andrew, Cody and Kenzie.

His funeral and burial will be private.
