Roger Gamache, 77, of Mt. St. Rita's Health Care Centre, Cumberland, died Sunday at his residence where he lived for the past 5 years. Born October 13, 1934 in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Ralph and Marion (Plouffe) Martin Gamache.

Mr. Gamache was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School. He had been employed by Greystone, Inc. for 10 years. Previously he had been employed by Healthtex, Inc. for 29 years.

He enjoyed watching sports, dancing and traveling.

He is survived by his brother Norman C. Martin of Cumberland and 6 nieces and nephews. He was the longtime companion of the late Carol Matera and the brother of the late Gerald Martin, Yvette Gianni and Georgette Rocha.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Mt. St. Rita's Chapel, 15 Sumner Brown Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visitation at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln will be from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. St. Rita's Health Care Centre or St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Greenville, RI.
