Mary J. (Sacchetti) Wagner, 84, of Lincoln, RI passed away into the arms of our Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her home with her family, after a long illness.

She leaves her loving husband of 63 years Leo J. Wagner and is also survived by her daughters Jean Armstrong and her husband Dennis of Northbridge MA, Patti Wagner-Miller and her husband Walter Miller of North Attleboro MA and Donna Herbrand and her husband John of Santa Fe, NM, two grandsons Michael Armstrong of Carbondale Il, and Miles Miller of North Attleboro MA. She is also predeceased by John Sacchetti her brother and Agelina Wilcox her sister. She is survived by Lena Trudeau and her husband Norman of Missouri TX and her sister Rose Martinelli of Pawtucket RI and her brother Richard Sacchetti and his wife Patricia of North Providence RI and also many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Pawtucket RI on October 28, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Pietro and Josephine (DiFillippo) Sacchetti. She enjoyed growing up with her large family. She was educated in the Pawtucket School system. Her first place of employment was with the Shartenbergs Department Store in Pawtucket. After marrying the love of her life, Leo, in 1948 she began to have her family of 3 daughters. Their move to their home in Lincoln RI in the 1950's would be a place of love and excitement with many celebrations of life's events. She was a very loving mother, wife and grandmother. She loved her home which exhibited her talents in cooking, decorating, gardening and sewing. Later in her life she was employed by the Peerless Department Store in Pawtucket and Lincoln RI as a leading salesperson and as a cosmetologist.

Mary was a member of the Womens Guild at St. Jude Church and also had been active on the Democratic Town Committee as well. She had enjoyed traveling around the United States and Europe until her health started to decline.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
