Claire M. Moran, 69, of South Attleboro died Thursday at Women & Infants Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of John P. Moran. They celebrated their 50th anniversary on September 2nd.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of Edouard and Alma (Plouffe) Dumont.

Mrs. Moran had been employed as a manager of Sears Service Center in Providence for many years.

She is also survived by her daughter Linda L. Parkinson and her husband John of Attleboro, daughter-in-law Jennifer Moran of Attleboro, brother Roger Dumont of Dayville, CT, sister Annette McCabe of Lincoln, 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late David P. Moran.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Theresa Church, Baltic Street, South Attleboro, MA. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln.
