Dr. Steven Sefla, 91, of Lincoln, died Tuesday at home. He was the loving husband of Rita (Bequir) Sefla. They had been married 55 years. Born in Korca Albania, he was a son of the late Abraham and Elka (Kocibelli) Sefla.

He attended Convite de National Italy, University of Bologna Italy School of Medicine, University of Vienna Austria School of Medicine, as well as the New York Chiropractic Institute. Dr. Sefla practiced in private practice until his retirement in 1993.

He is also survived by his daughter Janice (Sefla) Niedzwiadek of Pawtucket, his son Dr. Todd S. Sefla and his wife Mimi of Pawtucket, and his sister Ballsame Sefla. He was the proud grandfather of Jared Niedzwiadek, Shayna Niedzwiadek and Steven Sefla. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dr. Sefla was the brother of the late Dr. Yrish Sefla and Prema Sefla and the father in law of the late Donald R. Niedzwiadek.

Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln. His funeral and burial will be private.
