Vincent J. Sherry, 4, of Cumberland, died Thursday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.

He was the husband of Anna A. (Nelson) Sherry. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Mary G. (McKitchen) Sherry.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

His son Peter Sherry of St. Petersburg, Florida, his daughter Cynthia J. Swafford of Cumberland, his sister Muriel Burgess of MA, 1 grandson and 3 great-granddaughters survive him.

His funeral and burial were private.
