Vincent J. Olivieri, 85, of Lincoln and Port Charlotte, FL, died Monday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Effie L. (Rushing) Olivieri. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Lorenzo Olivieri.

Mr. Olivieri was employed as a silver polisher for Gorham Manufacturing Co. for 42 years and was a union steward. He also was the owner of Vemco Manufacturing Co. until his retirement. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Asiatic Pacific.

Mr. Olivieri is survived by his daughter Linda DiSciullo and her husband Vincent of Lincoln, son Vincent Olivieri and his wife Karen of Scituate, brothers Ralph Olivieri of Coventry and Leonard Olivieri of Florida, his grandchildren Michelle Pedersen, Christopher Gangi, Jennifer Dineen, Mathew Olivieri, Stephanie Dilibero, Rachel Olivieri James, Daniel, Altaira Young and 9 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Madeline Sue Young, Maria J. Oliver and Lawrence Olivieri and the brother of the late Pasquale Olivieri and Anthony Olivieri.

Committal prayers and military honors will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 am at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
