Roul G. Bouthillette, 71, of Lincoln, died peacefully Monday surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Muriel P. (Leduc) Bouthillette. They had been married 50 years. Born in the Manville section of Lincoln, he was a son of the late Gaston and Melanie (Tellier) Bouthillette.

Mr. Bouthillette was employed by General Dynamics. Later he was a manager at his family business prior to his retirement. He was in the US Marine Corp. from 1958 to 1962 and was a presidential honor guard to President Eisenhower. He was a 4th degree knight and a member of the Knights of Columbus Lincoln Council #4005. He was an aircraft pilot for 40 years.

He is also survived by his sons Gerard of Oklahoma, Michael of Lincoln, Brian of North Carolina and Wayne Bouthillette of Lincoln, his brother Marcel Bouthillette of Lincoln, his sister Aline Gagnon of Cumberland, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Norman, Raymond and Roger Bouthillette.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, School St., Albion. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-8 pm.
