Gertrude Macksoud, 100, formerly of Pawtucket, died Tuesday at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Macksoud and a daughter of the late George and Hermenegile (Allard) Marceau.

Mrs. Macksoud was employed by Robertson Rayon Mfg. Co. for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1978.

Her son Richard C. and his wife Donna Macksoud of North Smithfield, her daughter Arlene B. and her husband Jerry Aissis of Cumberland, 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive her. She was the mother of the late Joseph Alan Macksoud and the sister of the late Joseph, Napoleon and Woodrow Marceau, Lydia Clement, Anna Marceau, Lena Samra, Marie Shephardson, Ora McClelland and Bobby Arandale.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Basil Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Basil Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 pm.
