Arthur J. Brassard, 93, of Lincoln, died Thursday at Summit Commons, Providence. He was the husband of Diana L. (Berard) Brassard. They had been married 71 yrs. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Remy and Eugenie (Blain) Brassard and the stepson of Ombeline (Croteau) Brassard.

He was a self-employed owner of Spring Water Association and Rent All, Inc. Mr. Brassard was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was a Staff Sargeant with Company F 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment and a Purple Heart recipient.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Jean Brassard and his wife Rachel of Attleboro, MA, Jeannine Fichter of Lafayette, CO, his brother Emil Brassard of Central Falls, 3 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Henry, Ernest and Vincent Brassard.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:15 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial with Military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are from 9:15-10:15 am.
