Ludger Jutras

Ludger Jutras, 96, of Woonsocket, formerly of Pawtucket, died Sunday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Claire (Belair) Jutras and Marie (Guimont) Jutras. Born in Quebec, Canada he was a son of the late Alfred and Clara (Heneault) Jutras.

He was employed as a CV operator for ITT prior to his retirement. He served as a shipbuilder during WWII. Mr. Jutras was a devout Catholic and a proud French Canadian.

His children Theresa Loiselle of N. Smithfield, Lorraine Ratte of Cranston, Claire Weeks of Virginia Beach, VA, Jeannette Maynard of Woonsocket, Edgar Jutras of Central Falls and Diane Garvey of Cumberland, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews survive him. He was the brother of the late Albert, George, Phillip, Gerard and Leo Jutras and Yvonne Tondreau and Regina Chauvin.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Edward Church, Weeden St., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
