Helen E. Litz, 79, of Lincoln, died Wednesday. She was the wife of Ralph D. Litz. They had been married 46 years. Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie A. (Karcz) Szafranski.

Mrs. Litz was employed as a real estate agent for Lambert & Lambert prior to her retirement. She was an avid gardener and animal lover.

Her sister-in-law Joan Szafranski and several nieces and nephews survive her.

She was the sister of the late John A. and Chester W. "Chet" Szafranski, Julie Ring and Rose Nasal and aunt of the late Lisa Szafranski.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday a 4:00 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Calling hours are Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
