Roland C. Pare, Jr.

Roland C. Pare, Jr., 80, of Lincoln, died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Thelma L. (Perkins) Pare. They had been married 58 years. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Roland and Mildred (Mahan) Pare.

Mr. Pare was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a salesman for Charles Fradin Inc. from June 1960 until his retirement in December 1995.

He is also survived by his sons Craig T. Pare and his wife Barbara of Greencastle, Indiana and Douglas P. Pare of East Providence, RI, his daughter Robyn L. Pare of Silver Spring, Maryland, his sister Marilyn Boyer of Georgetown, Massachusetts and his grandson Alexander T. Pare.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 pm.
