Joan Beauchemin

Joan Beauchemin, 77, of Lincoln, died Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. Beauchemin. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Ann E. (Cassidy) Nelson.

Joan was employed as a retail cashier for Ann & Hope Stores of Cumberland for over 20 years. She was an avid pianist.

Her sons Raymond G. Beauchemin Jr. of Lincoln and William J. Beauchemin of Lincoln, daughter Sharon Hartley of Cumberland, sister Pauline A. Smith of Lincoln, grandchildren Jason Masse, Tommy, Courtney, Shelby and Casie Beauchemin, her nieces Ann Garrepy, Lisa Magee, Karen Butler, and her nephew Paul Smith survive her. She was the mother of the late Mark Beauchemin and the sister of the late William and James T. Nelson.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-8 pm.
