Mary H. "Sue" Whaley, 58, of Cumberland, died Thursday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of Robert E. Whaley, Jr.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Helen (Cassidy) Jenkins.

Sue was employed as a minibus aide for Laidlaw Transportation until her retirement. She was previously employed in the same capacity for the Town of Cumberland.

She is also survived by her daughters, Rebecca Nunes of Lincoln and Julie Gorman of Cumberland, her son Joseph F. Nunes of Fall River, MA, her sister Carolyn Brown of Cranston, her brother Clyde Jenkins of North Smithfield and 5 grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-6 pm.
