William J. "Jack" Killeen

William J. "Jack" Killeen, 82, of Lincoln, died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient. Ctr. He was the husband of Betty Anna (Prete) Killeen. Born in Lincoln, he was a son of the late Patrick and Mary Elizabeth (Smyth) Killeen.

Mr. Killeen was employed as a branch manager & regional sales person for Sunbeam Bread Co. New England region until his retirement in 1990. He was an active member of the Lincoln Council Knights of Columbus. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors also include his sons William J. Killeen and his wife Colleen, Kevin P. Killeen and his wife Tara, his daughters State Rep. Mary Ann Shallcross Smith and her husband Ron and Carol J. Killeen and her partner Patrick Devlin, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Raymond Killeen and Betty Boyd.

His funeral will be held on Monday at 7:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-7.
